Lake Eustis - Lake Eustis is connected to Lake Harris by the mile long Dead River and is 7,806 acres. Most of the waterfront restaurants are located on this lake. These include T Bones & Busters Steak House, the Third Place Restaurant, and the original River Vics Tavares located on the Dead River. It is also possible to dock at the City of Eustis Municipal docks and walk to the Crazy Gator Restaurant or visit downtown Eustis. The numerous residential canals surrounding Lake Eustis can have extremely productive fishing. The two public boat ramps include the Buzzard Beach ramp located between Tavares and Leesburg on State Road 441 and the Eustis city ramp is on Lakeshore Drive south of Eustis City.
